Artist Statement
13'' X 13'' Wooden Board
Acrylic Paint
In this painting I went out to the back patio and took a scene from there. The technique that I used on the painting was making the brush strokes visible to the eye. Another technique or goal that I had in mind was to make the picture look as though it had texture and make the paint thick. I did accomplish making the picture look and feel as though it has a texture to it and made the paint thick causing it to pop out.
