Board of Directors: Lisa Weisman
Lisa joined ArtWorks' Board in January, 2011. After spending more than twenty years working in the non-profit arena including ten years as Executive Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and four years as State Director of Best Buddies Wisconsin, Lisa currently provides marketing and development expertise as an independent Consultant to nonprofit organizations. Her client list includes APSE, Community Shares of Greater Milwaukee, and One Heartland. Lisa excels in relationship building, fund development, stewardship, and special event planning, and she brings a strong network as well as a unique perspective to the ArtWorks Board of Directors, beginning in January, 2011.
Lisa lives in Brookfield with her husband Kurt and 5 year old daughter, Sydney, along with their 105 pound golden retriever Paako. She also enjoys spending time with her extended family, which includes 2 adult stepsons Kory (Johnson Controls, MU Grad School) and Kyle (PDI-Architecture, UWM Grad School), and 1 adult stepdaughter and her husband, Stacie and Chris Zeman with their two boys, Chase and Cade.
Lisa received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In addition to her service on ArtWorks’ Board, Lisa is currently a member of the auction and fund development committee for her daughter’s school. She is looking forward to this new role and to working with this dynamic organization!
