ArtWorks for Milwaukee is proud to announce that Terry Murphy has been named the organization's new executive director. Terry will start in her new position on July 9.
Terry will bring a strong set of fundraising, public relations, management and communications skills as well as a passion for making a difference in her community to her position as ArtWorks' executive director.
Most recently, Terry served as the executive director at Ludington Area Center for the Arts in Ludington, Michigan. She has drawn successfully on her skills and experience to define the position of executive director, which is the first and only full-time paid position of this new arts organization in rural west Michigan.

Prior to moving to Ludington, Terry built her career in communications, in both the public and private sector. She was a successful grant writer for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Foundation and director of internal communications for a global restaurant company.
Terry is very excited to join ArtWorks to help the organization fulfill its mission of increasing its impact on Milwaukee's youth through the power of art. She and her partner, Deb, are looking forward to becoming a part of the vibrant,
creative community in the Milwaukee area.
