Here's some info about our Safe Messages program back in the Fall written by interns Brema and Avery:
"Last week we expressed our artistic abilities by experimenting with paint; painting and mixing colors. We used our social skills by critiquing each others' rough drafts and also continued working on our own rough drafts as individuals. We all put our heads together and used communication skills to come up with thoughts for a final piece, and sketched out a lot of different ideas. At the same time still having fun in the work place using critical thinking skills to play the "Slogan Game". We also created a zentangle (The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns), which was really Miss Melissa's way of testing our flexibility, and adaptability."
