Night by the River is ArtWorks for Milwaukee’s annual benefit.  Our most recent benefit was held on November 11, 2011 inside ManpowerGroup's Global Headquarters at 100 Manpower Place, Milwaukee WI.  With scenic views of the river and downtown Milwaukee, attendees were able to enjoy this unique venue while supporting ArtWorks for Milwaukee’s mission to “Inspire Creative Change” in our community.  

Guests enjoyed delectable hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants and sampled craft beers, fine wines and cocktails from some of Milwaukee’s finest establishments. A wide variety of generously donated silent and live auction items were up for bid, including a trip for two to Las Vegas.  Artwork from our teen Interns and local artists were displayed and available for purchase, including a wide selection from ART Milwaukee’s gallery.  Guest were also encouraged to stop by the “Capture Life Moments” photo booth as they enjoyed the
evening's activities.  

This sold out event brought in over 300 guests and raised more than $16,000.  This amount covers all expenses for a complete ArtWorks job training program which allows us to give 24 local teen the opportunity to interview and be hired in ArtWorks' paid-arts based internship.
