What ArtWorks Expects of You - Interns
We want all Interns who participate in ArtWorks programs to become better equipped to stay in school and successfully graduate, so they may make the transition from school to the world of work, and/or secure gainful employment for future success.
All Interns will benefit from ArtWorks programs if they are able to focus on the following areas:
1. Performing At Your Best:
- Come to work every day you’re scheduled, on time, and ready to work.
- Wear your ArtWorks t-shirt during all working hours.
- Account for your time at work by accurately filling out timesheets.
2. Working With Others:
In the real world of work, no one gets to choose
with whom they have to work
- Work as a team, help one another, and open yourself up to diversity.
- Deal with conflict in positive ways.
- Share your thoughts and ideas with others.
- Accept feedback from others, both good and bad, about your work and your performance.
3. Developing Your Skills:
- Improve your skills, practice techniques, and keep trying.
- Ask questions about things you may not understand.
- Learn new things and stay committed to learning.
