Once again, our talented cohort of CAPE interns has brought their creativity and passion to life through their amazing face painting designs exclusively designed for Black Arts Fest MKE 2024. These designs capture the brand, spirit, and energy of the festival, celebrating the rich and diverse culture that makes up the Black arts community.

In keeping with tradition and using two specific themes, our interns have skillfully blended a fusion of traditional and contemporary art styles, resulting in unique and eye-catching designs. Theme #1, Melanin Magic, exhibits everything from intricate patterns inspired by African heritage to bold and colorful expressions of identity and cultural pride, while Theme #2, Simple Kid Fun, displays traditional festival imagery for a more general appeal.
