Announcing Our New Program & Partnerships Manager

We are excited to announce that Dionna Hayden is ArtWorks for Milwaukee's new Program & Partnerships Manager. Dionna previously served as the Lead Artist of the CAPE Mental Health Movement, our Graphic Design and Mental Health Advocacy internship, which she designed in partnership with former Program Manager Lauren Leitner.

Dionna is an award-winning artist and creative professional, and was recognized by Milwaukee Recreation’s Partnership for the Arts & Humanities as Teaching Artist of the Year in 2024. A Milwaukee native, her artistic journey began the moment she could hold a pencil. She has been in the creative industry for over 20 years, including operating her own graphic design business as well as authoring and publishing children’s books.

As Program & Partnerships Manager, Dionna will serve as the primary point of contact for programmatic partners, have oversight of all program activities and staff, and work alongside the Executive Director to build awareness of ArtWorks for Milwaukee’s work in the community.
