Yanelly is passionate about mental health accessibility as she knows many people need mental health resources but cannot access them. Yannelly hopes to work as a hairstylist and anticipates that the experiences she will gain in leading this year will help carry through to her future.

Megan is eager to expand her world through making art and bonding with her cohort of interns. She is excited to explore Milwaukee and meet new people in our communities. Megan is an advocate for animal rights and for treating animals with compassion. She is not quite sure what career she would like to have yet, but she knows the strong career skills she will build here will help her future as a creative.

In this same vein September is interested in having a career in politics or environmental sciences. She anticipates that she will learn more about fashion, the environment, and collaboration.

Rashell is passionate about free menstrual product access for all and ending period poverty. She has a lifelong dream of working as a teacher, but recently has started considering being a chef. Rashell anticipates that her internship will improve her communication skills, professionalism skills, and prepare her for life after high school.

Paing has also always been passionate about our earth and how we have treated it over the years. Paing knows he doesn't have the ability to fix everything, but would like to help to the best of his abilities. He would like to have a career in environmental sciences or be an architect. Paing anticipates that this internship will help supplement his education before his career.

Jenna is excited to open up to others and receive feedback about their work. In the past they have been rather shy about their art, but are ready for this new experience. Connecting with others about art will be an exciting challenge for them. They are passionate about human and animal rights, advocating/awareness for mental health, and environmental matters. They believe in harm reduction within our community. Jenna believes in ending overconsumption and creating more than you consume. They would like to become a civil engineer. Jenna hopes the support and structure through this internship will help transition them into adulthood.
