In spring 2024, our Environmental Arts interns joined forces with Clemens School to create vibrant community art. Inspired by illustrations from Clemens' first-grade students, the interns designed and painted three stunning storm drain murals. The collaboration began with a tailored lesson about the key differences between stormwater and wastewater. This creative project not only beautified the school's environment but also fostered environmental awareness and teamwork, bridging art and education in an unforgettable way.
