At ArtWorks for Milwaukee, we are deeply grateful for the support that helps us fulfill our mission and goals. Minuteman Press Brookfield has been a key partner in this journey, providing exceptional services that enable us to produce high-quality materials and marketing pieces. Recently, they took their support a step further by generously donating their printing services to transform our CAPE Program Space with a vibrant mural wall. The mural has become an inspiring centerpiece, reflecting the creativity and energy of the youth we serve while enhancing the space into a place of joy, motivation, and belonging for all involved.
At Minuteman Press Brookfield, community ties run deep, and their reputation for delivering high-quality printing and creative solutions is unmatched. In this exclusive interview with Angila Allen, President of Minuteman Press Brookfield, we dive into their unique services, commitment to community, and the inspiring mural donation for ArtWorks Milwaukee.
Q1: Minuteman Press Brookfield has such a great reputation for high-quality printing and custom projects. Could you tell us more about the unique services you offer and any specialties that set your team apart in the print industry?
Angila Allen:
We can serve the community in so many ways. That makes us unique. Our mission is to make every customer look great. We are here to serve.
It may be with something as common as business cards, postcards, brochures, flyers, promotional products or programs to much more complex jobs such as mailing campaigns, wide format/wall and window graphics, nationwide fulfillment services to being the creative and branding services for existing and new businesses.
Q2: What inspired you to support ArtWorks for Milwaukee with this incredible mural donation? How do you see the impact of having an inspiring space for youth as they develop creative and professional skills?
Angila Allen:
We love our communities and want to actively participate. I’ve always been a HUGE proponent of education for our youth. Whether it is with STEAM, reading, language, life skills or critical thinking. It is all important. We were blessed to have this opportunity because we know someone within your organization. We have been entrusted with this business so we can help and serve. This was one way we could help support your team and give back to our youth. With a fun colorful mural.
Having an inspiring space for youth lets them know they are cared for and loved. It’s not only by the people they are around every day or at ArtWorks for Milwaukee. It's also by many they will never meet. They are our future, and we can encourage them by making this a place of joy, calmness and motivation.
Q3: Giving back to the community is clearly something you’re passionate about. Could you share more about why community involvement is important to you personally and to the values of Minuteman Press Brookfield?
Angila Allen:
It’s all about love. I love people and I love our communities. People build communities and the more positive influences we pour into our communities and our youth the better it is for all. I’ve been blessed to have many people pour into me throughout my life. It’s my joy to pour into others. We only get one try on this earth with one life. It's like a dash with a beginning and end. I don’t want to leave anything on the table but to love, give and serve as I run the race. Minuteman Press Brookfield values people within our communities. We understand we are all integrally connected. By helping and serving each other, we all soar.
Q4: What do you hope the youth who use this space will feel or experience when they see this mural in their programming space?
Angila Allen:
My hope is for the youth to know they are special. Each of them is unique and cared about.
To know others want them to have joy in their hearts. That is so important. To know others believe in them and want them to live a full life. We want them to have an environment where they feel inspired.
Q5: For those interested in learning more about how Minuteman Press Brookfield could help with their projects, whether business or community-related, what’s the best way for them to get started with you?
